Chris Onyett Internet Marketing Director

Chris Onyett brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in online marketing, usability, web design and front end development to the Saelstrom Marketing team.

Starting his career off in Vancouver, BC, Chris worked for one of North America's top internet marketing agencies where he developed a strong passion for online marketing. During his time in Vancouver he had some great opportunities which included visiting the Googleplex in Mountain View California where he received training in paid search marketing, web analytics, and convesion optimization methods directly from Google. Chris also achieved the designation of "Google Website Optimizer Authorized Consultant" through working with Google's conversion optimization tool, Google Website Optimizer, and proving solid conversion boosts and R.O.I for his clients.

Chris is currently involved with the Kelowna community in many ways including teaching internet marketing at a local tech college, speaking at education events and seminars, and sitting as the head of the search engine marketing special interest group for Digital Okanagan.

His analytical approach and knowledge of search engine marketing has helped him prove top results for his clients. Outside of work Chris enjoys many hobbies such as: soccer, snowboarding, surfing, playing music, and studying Japanese.

 

Ulf Lonegren Creative Director

Ulf leads his team with vast amounts of creativity and a keen eye for design. Primarily designing for the web, Ulf has become a fanatic for usability, believing that visual appeal only counts for a small portion of the overall user experience.

Although he mostly focuses on web design, Ulf also has a strong passion for print design, front end development, and learning new technologies. His love for all things related to design and the web have pushed Saelstrom Marketing to continually evolve as new trends emerge in this ever-changing industry.
