Jr. Online Marketing Strategist

Position Summary

Saelstrom Marketing is currently looking to hire a Junior Online Marketing Strategist starting part-time at 20 hours/week with the wage of $16/hour. This position will eventually work into full-time hours.

Some things you’ll be doing

  • Utilize online resources (industry blogs & sites) on a frequent basis to stay current of industry knowledge/tools/techniques/trends/etc
  • Develop & execute online marketing strategies utilizing search engine optimization (SEO), paid search marketing, email marketing, social media marketing and conversion optimization
  • Keyword research for SEO and paid search marketing campaigns
  • Competitor and market research
  • Web analytics implementation & analysis
  • Link building
  • Write blog posts
  • SEO campaign management
  • Paid search marketing account management
  • Monthly website reporting and recommendations
  • Attend client meetings
  • Take part in frequent internal discussions
  • Take the initiative to test your own recommendations and measure results in order to develop your own standards and best practices
  • Use some of the best industry tools available to help you get the job done
