Proof of concept can go a long way

energywise-pie-chart.jpgEnergy Wise Solutions approached us with one clear goal in mind - to increase lead acquisitions for their home energy evaluation business from online mediums. Since their target market includes people across several different locations, and their advertisements differ from province to province, we suggested paid search marketing.

We developed pay-per-click (PPC) marketing campaigns, with a focus on direct response. We made sure we were targeting people who were within Energywise's service area, and who were looking for the services they offered.

We also designed and built specific landing pages for this PPC campaign, so that the visitors would have a highly relevant experience from the start to the finish. Depending on what query the visitor used to search, they would land on a page that provided them with all the information they required in once place, with a focus on qualifying and converting the visitor.

The results were immediately positive, and showed a high return on investment in the first month. The conversion rates were often above 10%, and never below 6% which was great. Due to on going campaign optimization, the average cost-per-click has also decreased significantly month to month. This has resulted in the marketing budget going further each month, easily covering the cost of management fee's.

After the first 3 months, Energywise Solutions showed a solid profit of $26,979.43 from website leads alone, coming from the paid search marketing campaigns. They estimate the actual total profit to be much more as they receive many phone bookings, which is not tracked back to the online campaign.
