The terms AB Split and Multivariate testing may sound like rocket science, but the concept is simple and the results are huge. This tool allows for two different kinds of testing methods, AB split and multivariate testing.

AB split testing - is the process of testing one page against another to determine which one converts the best. Saelstrom will generally start things off with an A/B test as they usually yield the largest results.

Multivariate testing - is the process of testing elements on a page to determine the highest converting combination. A common test would be to test 3 headlines, 3 variations of body text, and 3 images. At Saelstrom we will commonly perform this sort of test after an A/B split test has been completed. Multivariate tests are fantastic for fine tuning a page to get that extra conversion lift.
